The PPQ and PDP should both be manufactured. Other gun companies make more than one pistol model for police, military, security and civilian self defense.

Had a Sig P320 in layaway @ a local shop. Found out about the problem of them firing on their own & got uncomfortable since I carry appendix. I then watched tons of top 5, 7, 10, etc. vids on handguns & noticed the PDP kept coming up. And after watching TONS of reviews, I liked what I saw & QUICKLY changed my layaway. The PDP compact is my new EDC. I LOVE IT!!! Getting the F-series (3.5" barrel) next.

Does the PDP ACRO Full size Professional allow other red dots to be installed with Walther plates? I am asking because I have read that the slide is "direct milled". If at some time I wanted to replace the ACRO, is it possible?

Walther P99 is outstanding with rapid fire! I think it is best for combat shooting and action shooting! It made smallest group with rapid fire on my experience.

Since this is SA/DA I don’t think you really should bother doing that. It’s 9+1, so chamber a round, put the safety on, decock the weapon, and holster it (providing you’re going to be carrying and you’re legally permitted to concealed carry). If I’m wrong, someone please correct me.

Great looking and functioning furniture. Who is the maker?

I was really interested in this gun until I rented one at the range. Talk about German over thinking. The best way I can describe this gun is that it’s a lot answers to questions no one is asking. The paddle mag release on this little gun is awkward. There’s no slide stop. You have to decock it like a revolver. They take down is complicated. I feel like it was not made for the American market. It just misses the mark. In a lot of ways. That’s disappointing. Meanwhile everyone is waiting for a follow up to the PPSM2 in a double stack or the PDP in a micro size
